Lawpreneurz Shruti Punetha
Shruti Punetha completed her Bachelor of Laws from ILS, Pune, securinga position amongst the top 5 students in Pune University. She then pursued her L.L.M. in Personal Laws from the prestigious NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, where she was also a TA and taught family law to the second-year law students. In addition, she holds a diploma in media laws from NALSAR.
Subsequently, she worked as the Law Professor and de facto head of the Department of Law at R.A. Podar School of Economics and Commerce, Mumbai, where she taught Business Laws. She then moved to ABA College of Law in Mumbai, where she has been teaching several coursesincluding Family Law, Jurisprudence, Women & Law, Legal language, Interpretation of Statutes, and Legal history.
Shruti was a research assistant on the paper “Investing in Ponzi schemes – a psychological and socio-economical perspective”, an all-India study supported by the P.J. Foundation, Bombay Stock Exchange – Investors’ Protection Fund. Shealso has published two papers on “Triple Talaq” (2017) and “Contract of Surrogacy” (2016).
