Lawpreneurz Shrutti Rajgarhia
Ms Shrutti Rajgarhia graduated with a BA.LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai, after which she went onto pursue a Masters in Law (LL.M) from Cornell Law School, Ithaca. While pursuing her LL.M, she was awarded the Berger International and Comparative Legal Studies Summer Fellowship and the Rudolph B. Schlesinger Fellowship for International Students, by Cornell Law School.
She has previously worked with, UN Women, Infosys Limited, Walt Disney, HDFC Limited and Cadbury India Limited among others, in the capacity of a legal intern. Shrutti has also successfully been a judicial clerk under Justice Roshan Dalvi at the Bombay High Court, while at Government Law College.
After the completion of her LL.M, she was selected as a Humanitarian Action Fellow by the Duke Stanford School of Public Policy in Switzerland and went onto working with the United Nations in Geneva.
After working with the United Nations, Shrutti returned to India and joined as an Assistant Professor of Law at NMIMS, School of Law, where she taught various graduate and post-graduate courses such as Constitutional Law, Law and Justice in the Globalizing World, International Humanitarian and Refugee Law to name a few. She actively guides and advices students on the way forward in their careers and the pathway to studying abroad.
Shrutti, feels very passionately about spreading the importance of education and making education accessible to all without any discrimination and in light of this has done tremendous work in the field of rural education in India and South East Asia.
